🍽️ LOCAL FLAVOR

📍145 East D Stree Benicia, CA 94510
Breakfast and lunch served all day every day! 7:30am - 4pm
Nestled in downtown Benicia just off First Street, The Café at The Inn serves up warm hospitality and seasonal California fare in a setting that feels like home. The team behind it calls it “fresh, seasonal California fare” and emphasizes local sourcing, fun specials (think fried chicken on a buttermilk biscuit or a vegan heirloom bean burger), and a welcoming vibe whether you’re grabbing coffee, brunch or a relaxed dinner.
Inside you’ll find garden-fresh salads, inventive brunch plates and rotating dishes that nod to the East Bay’s bounty. The atmosphere is relaxed yet stylish—perfect for lingering over a weekend morning mimosa or celebrating a mid-week treat. Bonus: it’s right downtown, so you can stroll a few blocks before or after your meal and soak in Benicia’s historic small-town charm.

Benicia's best kept garden hideaway is magical and so comfy. It's one of those cafes that feels welcoming and homey. I went to Cafe at the Inn twice for my birthday brunch! First with a large group -- which they can accommodate if you call ahead -- and then with two of my favorite ladies. Both times we were happy with the fresh food, delicious drink options, and wonderful ambiance. Inside there's so many cute corner nooks including interior design that is so classic and thoughtful. If you find yourself there on a day with good weather, you can enjoy the beautiful fenced patio/gazebo. The service was great -- the staff are friendly and timely! What's not to love!
