In the heart of Benicia, The Workshop brings a taste of New Orleans to Northern California. Specializing in Cajun/Creole and Southern seafood, this cozy, casual spot serves up standout dishes like shrimp and oyster po’boys, gumbo, and jambalaya—all made with fresh ingredients and generous Southern hospitality.
Daily vibes:
Outdoor seating lets you relax while watching the chefs craft your meal through a prep-window—adding a touch of theater to lunch time.
The staff is friendly, and the portions are generous—some reviewers say the gumbo “rivals anything I’ve had in The Big Easy,” while others call the po’boys “by far the best sandwich in town”.
Do yourself a favor and go to the Workshop this place is the real deal and the Chef knows what he's doing I've actually tried everything on the menu and EVERYTHING is AMAZING..!!!!
Get there soon cause they close early and usually sell out of there specials, the Workshop is absolutely one of my favorite places to eat.
