This family-friendly event brings together live music, inspiring art, and joyful connection in a welcoming atmosphere for all ages. Enjoy delicious eats from a local food truck while exploring performances and artistic expression that honor empowerment and imagination. Whether you’re coming with friends, family, or flying solo, there’s something magical here for everyone—be part of the celebration!

Hosted by the Martinez Arts Association - Founded in 1968 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, the Martinez Arts Association (MAA) leads many community events throughout the year. Our goal is to encourage art, culture, and education for our youth and the community. We coordinate and sponsor art-related events such as ‘SWAN Day’ (Support Women Artists Now) in March, ‘Art in the Park’ in August, and Dia de los Muertos.

Twenty-six years ago, EastSide Arts Alliance set out to create a Third World Cultural Center to serve and unite the Black, Brown, Asian & Indigenous communities that compose East Oakland. EastSide began as a progressive fusion of cultural collectives of color, which organized a steady stream of art programs, town hall forums, youth workshops, and visual exhibitions at the EastSide Cultural Center (now including a Third World archives and bookstore). We also deliberately gathered our respective communities to celebrate at an annual Malcolm X JazzArts Festival at San Antonio Park.

Uniting nationally celebrated jazz artists, cultural workers, and local creatives for a full day of live jazz, Hip Hop, Spoken Word art, food, and liberation in the heart of East Oakland.

Join us in celebrating 25 years of revolutionary culture and decades-long commitment to culture as a tool for liberation.

Join us for the 12th annual Piedmont School Maker Faire - a celebration of K-12 Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math, & Music (S.T.E.A.M.) education in Piedmont schools & throughout the East Bay - presented by Piedmont Makers!

We will feature S.T.E.A.M. projects by students from Beach, Havens, Wildwood, Piedmont Middle School, Millennium High School, and Piedmont High School, along with hands-on projects from community makers and live music from student musicians & bands! More info at piedmontmakers.org.

Tickets are FREE for the Maker Faire, but we welcome donations to support our work inspiring kids to be creative problem solvers and innovators in STEAM. Suggested donation of $10 per person.
